The Forest Edge South Neighbourhood Plan is being overseen by West Dean Parish Council and covers the six villages of Whitecroft, Parkend, Pillowell, Yorkley, Viney Hill and Oldcroft. For more than 5 years the volunteer steering group from all these villages have worked hard, with our nominated planners DLP, to complete this process which will give more influence over really important issues like the type and number of houses being built in our villages.
We are now almost ready to invite everyone to see what has been produced and to have your say on the Draft Plan. There will be more public consultations, this time in Parkend, Pillowell, Yorkley and also at West Dean Centre in Bream during March, April and May. Also a webinar with our planners (DLP) for those wishing to participate online.
Can you help with distributing flyers about these consultation events to all homes in our six villages? Are you part of a walking group, do you like walking for exercise or would you just like to be part of this very important project.
Please contact Elaine on 01594 563479 or Steve on 01594 562638 if you can help.
